Dentist Job in Chicago IL Location: Chicago, Illinois

JOB DETAIL:

Blue Jay Dental has a growing DSO client that provides general dentistry to both adults and children in Chicago Illinois.

DATE NEEDED & HOURS:

Monday -Friday and two Saturdays per month.

LOOKING FOR IN A DENTIST:

A dentist who is motivated and open to learning and growing. The dentist should be confident in skills and have the ability to do same day and quadrant dentistry.

DENTIST CASELOAD:

Practice sees 60/40 adults to kids and takes MEDICAID, PPO and FFS as payment. The office sees 65% Medicaid, so dentist must desire to see this population of patients.

OFFICE DETAILS:

This is a high-tech office that currently has 6 operatories. Computers in all ops. The office uses Dentrix charting and they have chairs from Henry Schein.

Desire to learn and grow as a dentist

Dentist Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treatment plan, and produce out of multiple chairs.
• Prepare and restore fillings, crowns, and bridges.li>
• Assess patient's dental status and arrange for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed.
• Provide comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients.
• Provide routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
• Manage and supervise the work of dental assistants and dental hygienists
• Manage administrative functions of the Dental Office.
